New do ... Hairdo that is

Man I can't believe how far behind I am in my posts. I was doing SO good! Sorry to all of you that want to read this everyday. Life has been a bit tiring lately. All I want to do is sleep! ;)

With that said... Ryker got to meet his new BFF (I will force this on him!) this weekend! Santino that is. And he also got a new do courtesy of his daddy.

Lucas and Ryker both have the same do now but I failed to get a picture of the both of them. ;( so use your imagination after seeing Rykie! :)

Hope everyone's life's not as tiring ad mine and you can stay up past 9 o'clock at night. I hear there are some pretty cool shows on these days () take care hopefully chat with you all tomorrow!

Babies and Gators

Today I got to meet a pretty special baby boy! His name is Santino, he was born today at 12:04 am, 6lbs 12 oz, and 20 in long.

I can't wait for Ryker to meet him! He is going to love him so much! Pictures to come when Ryker meets Santino they are going to be so precious!

Swing set anyone?

So we received this swing set from the neighbors that packed up and moved away. It was very nice of them!

Only they moved away a couple of days ago and the swing set was still in their backyard. The new "peeps" started moving in today. So we went and got "our" swing set today.
Hope they don't notice our awesome swing set in our back yard a couple houses down. They might be jealous!

Ps we totally would have left it if they had kids. They don't... And I doubt they were going to use it... And the previous owners really did give it to us! I swear!!!

Pretty neat eh?

Manic Monday Zebra

So friday I had my post all planned out, you can't have a wedding with out a honeymoon right?

So you were going to get to witness first hand our honeymoon.

BUT

I went home sick from work and slept the day away... So no honeymoon post for you! Maybe someday you will get to witness it... but not today!

Today I want to show you my Zebra.

This morning before "school" Ryker thought it would be a great idea to color himself with permanent marker.

"ook mommy, I olor"

"Yes Ryker, You colored all over yourself and now you look like a Zebra, Thank you for that!"

Then he went and looked at himself in the full length mirror, checked out his artwork, and was very very proud. I wish I could have captured his little evil, rotten, proud smirk he had when he saw himself in the mirror. I couldn't help but laugh.

Happy 4 Year Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to my sweet shnookems. Okay I don't really call him that. I like to call him Lover but he hates it. So I'll stick with the boring stuff like Babe or the occasional honey.

We have been together 8 years, married for 4, and parents for 3.

Our wedding day was a special one. Best day of my life. (Besides the birth of my kids)

All wedding days comes with challenges and triumphs and ours was no different.

I started off the day turning the house upside down because I couldn't find my wedding bands. I couldn't find them in the house because I never picked them up from the jeweler. Ooooppsss -- Lucky for me I was able to get them before the ceremony.

After the ring fiasco came the ceremony. And we only had to start an hour later than planned due to the main highway being closed down.

But who wouldn't want to hang out an extra hour with these lovelys and good looking men?

Finally the ceremony got started and it was beautiful.
All our friends and family that we love were there, to share in our special day!

Lucas's Uncle Rod married us

Lucas's cousin, Devon, sang and played the guitar amazingly.

And my sister, Tara, sang a beautiful beautiful song.

We did it! We tied the knot! We are husband and wife!

NOW LET'S CELEBRATE!

Phew that day was finally stress free!

And what a great day it was!

Cheers to 4 years and many more to come.

I love you so much shnookems, I mean lover, I mean Babe!

Thank you for picking me to spend your life with.

I couldn't be more lucky.

Mini Vaca

Little mini vaca to Ohio Complete.

We had a good time. 

Even if we had to be in an RV together for 14 hours.

Played a few card games on the way down and the way back.

BUT

We slept most of the time.

Best part of having an RV! ;P

We were refreshed and ready to go once we got there.

The kids played and the grownups chatted.

We played golf...

My team won. At least that is what I'm going to tell all of you!

All because of this guy right here.

And who could not have a blast on the golf course with this guy!

We also got to go and visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton OH.

Very Neat.

Especially if you are a football lover like I am.

I really need to start getting much better at remembering/ taking pictures. I can't believe we didn't get a picture of all the families together.

I think the most favorite part of the mini vacation for me was when we all sat down Saturday night and played Mafia vs. Townsfolk.

What a great way to have family interaction. If you have not played this game you NEED to. And if you want to know how it's played, dont be afraid to ask. I’d love to tell ya!

The mini vacation came to an abrupt end and it was time to say our goodbyes.

Hopefully we will see them all again real soon.

BUT

It's their turn to come to Kansas!

That's where we are headed right now!

by WE I mean my family. My WHOLE family.

Well, that was terribly rude of me Yesterday and I would like to apologize.

Today we (The football crazy girls) started talking about our Fantasy Football League.

I love this part of the year.

Sweatshirts, CHIEFS, fantasy football, cool weather, football!

Oh, I also learned yesterday that Ryker gets moved up into the next classroom at school this month. It's a 3 year old classroom, he's not quite 3 yet, BUT they said "since he is pretty much potty trained"... Yes i said PRETTY MUCH POTTY TRAINED. He is one of the chosen ones to move up! Very excited for this new adventure he is going to go on and very excited that he is PRETTY MUCH POTTY TRAINED!!! :) Now onto the night time... haha Yeah right!

You all will just have to wait..

So I learned some exciting news yesterday. That has totally preoccupied my brain therefore finding it hard to think of something to blog about. So for now I will keep you all in suspense of this exciting news!

I can't tell you guys for awhile. I really want to! I want to just shout it from the roof tops...

Post weekend

Weekend was good.

BBQ was nice and the kids played together great!

Dusty won his fight! Title fight that is!

Birthday party was a success even though I forgot lawn chairs. Oh and I forgot. Well I guess i didn't forget. I just accidentally slept the entire Sunday away and didn't have time to get a present for miss Legan! I'm a procrastinator if you all haven't noticed yet!

Tonight we went and saw big brother! It was long over due! Then went to get Legan a late birthday present and went and had dinner. Fun night out with the fam!

Prayers for Luke's mom please... She had an appendectomy this weekend. Glad it was nothing serious! I love you Jane! Heal quickly!

BB guns, Lotion, and The Weekend

IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!

Let me tell you how the day started off!

I'm getting ready for work which takes approximately 10 min. (As of late, throw on a t-shirt, put wet hair in a pony tail, throw on some mascara and out the door)

But today... Ryker is ridiculously too quiet...

hmmmm where could he be???

Oh just in bed playing with a BB Gun... peeqw peeqw peeqw

(You'll shoot your eye out, You'll shoot your eye out)

So I decided he was content enough to be left as is and I could finish my morning routine.

5 min later... (time to get him ready for school)

What do I find?

Oh, just my son washing himself with Lotion.

"ook mommy, oap" --- translated to "Look Mommy, Soap"

Needless to say we had to take a quick shower.

At least his skin will be soft and hair shinny!

Today was not the first time Ryker has decided he needed soft skin.

Maybe he is trying to tell me something! :)

This weekend is a busy one but what weekend as of lately hasn't been.

Tonight --  BBQ with these crazies.

Dusty is fighting his first Title Fight.

Loves that he gets to train, advise, support, and corner his best friend in a sport that they both enjoy so much.

BUT

Hates that he can not help him when he gets in certain situations.
